Signing of Miller step in the right direction. posted on 08/15/2008
With Ryan Miller in a Sabres sweater for the next 6 years Sabres fans can breathe easier. All the backlash toward the organization with the recent departures of our "top" players this is something we can be happy about. I just want to toss this idea out there. Perhaps the Sabres planned all along to go with this core of players rather than the likes of Drury, Briere, and Campbell. The Western New York area has been torn on quarterback ever since the great Number 12 left the team. I don't understand why the fans of the Buffalo Bills always have to have a hotly debated QB situation. Isn't it all about the "W" anyway. In my opinion i don't care if its Edwards, Losman, or even Hamdan lining up under center as long as we get that wild card birth. I hope I'm not alone in this.
